Generate Purchasing Analysis Report

Follow these steps to generate Purchase Analysis:
 
Path: Reports > Sales and Purchasing > Purchase Analysis
          Purchasing-A/P Module > Purchasing Reports > Purchase Analysis
 
Click on the specific report, A Selection Criteria will appear that contains 3 Tabs:
  • Vendor Tab - Analyze the purchasing volume for each vendor or for vendor groups.
  • Items Tab - Analyze the purchasing volume either per item or per item group.
  • Sales Employee Tab - Analyze the purchasing volume per sales employee.
 

Purchase Analysis Report: Vendor Tab

Use this tab to specify selection criteria for the Purchase Analysis by Vendors report.
 
  1. Select whether you want the report to reflect results for the entire year, per month or per quarter.
  2. Select the document type on which you want to base the sales analysis. (A/P Invoices, Purchase Orders, Goods Receipt PO)
  3. Select "Individual Display" to display the report for individual customers.
  4. Enter the Posting Date "From and To" to generate the report within the specified dates.
  5. To generate specific Vendor, enter the same Vendor Code "From and To", otherwise leave it as "blank" to generate all the vendors.
  6. Choose Specific Properties if applicable.
  7. Click OK
  8. Then a summary of Sales Analysis by Vendors is generated.
  9. Double-click on row number for a detailed report.

 

Purchase Analysis Report: Item Tab

Use this tab to specify selection criteria for the Purchase Analysis by Item Report, which analyzes purchase either per item or per item group.
 
  1. Select whether you want the report to reflect results for the entire year, per month or per quarter.
  2. Select the document type on which you want to base the sales analysis. (A/P Invoices, Purchase Orders, Goods Receipt PO)
  3. Select "Individual Display" to display the report for individual customers.
  4. Enter the Posting Date "From and To" to generate the report within the specified dates.
  5. To generate specific Items, enter the same Item Code "From and To", otherwise leave it as "blank" to generate all items.
  6. Choose Specific Properties if applicable.
  7. Tick Secondary Selection to show additional parameters. (Optional)
  8. Click OK
  9. Then a summary of Sales Analysis by Items is generated.
  10. Double-click on row number for a detailed display for a detailed report.
 
 

Purchase Analysis Report: Sales Employee Tab

Use this tab to specify selection criteria for the Purchase Analysis by Sales Employee Report, which analyzes purchasing volume per sales employee.
 
  1. Select whether you want the report to reflect results for the entire year, per month or per quarter.
  2. Select the document type on which you want to base the sales analysis. (A/P Invoices, Purchase Orders, Goods Receipt PO)
  3. Enter the Posting Date "From and To" to generate the report within the specified dates.
  4. To generate specific Sales Employee, enter the same Sales Employee Code "From and To", otherwise leave it as "blank" to generate all Sales Employee.
  5. Tick "Include Inactive Sales Employee" if applicable.
  6. Click OK
  7. Then a summary of Sales Analysis by Sales Employee is generated.
  8. Double-click on row number for a detailed report.
